Instant oats are true to their names and a quick and easily cookable version oats. They are not just pressed slightly lighter and rolled, but also cooked and then dried, therefore they can be done in just a couple of minutes. As a downside, they don’t have as much of a chewy texture and can become mushy if you overcook them, so pay extra attention preparing your oatmeal from instant oats. If you are in a hurry, just heat up water to boiling, measure 1 cup of instant oats and 1,5 cup of hot water, mix the 2 and slice in a banana. As easy as it sounds!
