Wet and slippery grass, or too soft, uneven sand can be a dangerous surface to do exercises on, especially if you are a beginner to yoga or you are practicing moves like the crow pose or handstand that requires proper balance. Make sure your mat or towel is on an even ground that is not deforming during practice, even when you are doing explosive movements.
