6. Wash, Rinse And Dry The Leeks

When you are done and all the chopped leeks are in the bowl, fill it up with room temperature clean water. Swirl them around a bit until the layers of the leeks separate and the occasional dirt in between them come off as well. Use a strainer or a larger slotted spoon to remove the leeks from the water and place them on a larger dry paper towel.
