5. Chop The Leeks Into Similar Sized, Half-Moon Pieces

Once you have lined up your half leeks again, start chopping them up evenly from one end to the other. Try to maintain even sizes by cutting them up into half an inch thick half-moons. If your board gets cluttered with the pieces, take out a large enough bowl and slide in the already prepared ones.
