3. Slice The Cabbage Into Two Halves
Place the head on the base, where the stem was attached and by holding it firmly with one hand, slice through with your knife at the center. Remember to use a very sharp and long knife (a chef’s knife is the best for the task) as the cabbage head can be very hard. Also be careful not to injure yourself, especially when you start and are close to the bottom of the head.
