3. Rip Off The Hard Covering Leaves

Usually there are 2-3 leaves covering the outside of a sprout, simply rip them off and put them away for later use (except for the very dry ones that you can get rid of without any guilty feelings). They are great ingredients in a vegetable stock, so no need to throw them out.
