A Tidy Way Of Breaking A Pomegranate Into Seeds
6. Divide The Seeds And The Membranes
During the previous step you have already removed many of the membranes, but smaller pieces and damaged seeds can still be in the mix. Fill the bowl with clean water so these parts can float atop and the healthy, whole seeds will stay at the bottom. Remove the floating parts with a skimmer, or a slotted spoon (or with your hands if none of those are around you). When you are done, just simply and gently strain the remaining seeds.
